Assistant Director / Senior Assistant Director / Dy. Director (Downstream)
Job Objective
Act as an interface on policy related matters between the Government and industry members and provide necessary assistance in advising government and regulatory authorities on policy formulation. Also, jointly work with senior team members in effectively taking up and completing consultancy assignments.

Key Responsibilities
Analysing data on Downstream sector to test the effectiveness of current policies and advising on the suitability of alternative policy framework.
Promote interest of member companies and function as a facilitator and be the voice of the oil & gas sector in India.
Coordinate with government, regulatory agencies, NITI Aayog and other Industry Forums.
Coordinate with oil & gas companies with a view to share the “Best Practices” in the industry amongst member companies.
Produce research on international hydrocarbon related developments and their impact on India
Associate with domestic as well as global agencies in effectively taking up consultancy assignments and special studies in the field of energy
Associate with Sub-committees of the company in the relevant areas.
Analyse the needs of infrastructure development in the country for facilitating the projected growth in the hydrocarbon sector and appropriately take up with concerned government agencies.
Keep track of alternate energy sources and study the impact on conventional fuels.
Keep track of global trends in refining industry with changing mobility aspects.

Qualification
Degree in Petroleum/Mechanical/Chemical/Petrochemical or equivalent Engineering and/or MBA preferably with specialization in Oil & Gas from a reputed institute.
Experience
At least 5-7 years of experience in Industry/reputed consulting firm/Industry Association with in-depth knowledge of sector specific policies and practices.
Age
Preferred Age on Joining – around 30-40 years.
